Have you ever wondered where Rudy’s Pizza got the name from? Well, founders Kate and Jim have named their now-famous pizzeria after their canine companion Rudy. Rudy is a long-haired sausage dog and has all of us in the office wanting to give him all the head pats! Rudy is active on Instagram, and the star of the show even visited Rudy’s pizzeria in Birmingham!
Barney the Staffy/Lab Cross
Barney is a rescue dog who looks amazing with his shiny coat and sparkling eyes – he’s ready to steal your heart! This Manchester pupper loves nothing more than exploring, playing with his favourite tennis ball, and eating all the nice food. You can either find Barney strutting his stuff in one of the parks, or in the pub with his hoomans.
Olive the French Bulldog
When a dog has better fashion sense than you, you know they’re something special, and Olive is it. Olive is a busy pup, who works in marketing by day, but hits up the town when she’s finished in the office! You may have the chance to meet her in city hotspots such as Gorilla and Fress.
Ruby the Cocker Spaniel
Ruby the Cocker Spaniel is a doggo on a mission – visiting some of the top venues in Manchester such as Takk and Hawksmoor. When she isn’t roaming the city, Ruby can be found chewing shoes and finding the best spot to sleep!
Barkley the Golden Doodle
Barkley is only a few years old, but he has already stolen the heart of the Manchester population. He may be only young, but he is a fluffy, friendly giant, who also models for Pets At Home. Barkley’s life motto is “If you can’t eat it or play with it, just pee on it & walk away.”

Despite not being one individual dog, we felt that Manchester and Cheshire Dog’s home needed an honorary mention. The home is constantly posting about the dogs in their care on social media, so keep an eye out if you’re looking for a new family member! A rescue dog could be the pawfect choice.
